Gnr. William Lowes, formerly of the Royal Artillery and then No.6 Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, June 1944. Gnr. William Lowes was reported as being severly wounded at William was the son of William and Adelaide Edith Lowes, of Highfield, Co. The inscription on his headstone reads: ‘Father, in thy gracious keeping. Leave we now they servant sleeping. Amen.’ |
